I would like to thank the group for the time and effort they put into remembering the Servicemen of HMF. I have personnally lost a couple of mates along the way in my time in the Army. I was made aware of the event by a friend who was at the memorial that day to remember one of our mates. He was absolutetly amazed and it brought a lump to his throat especially when he saw the Ex Servicemen among the riders. Once again many thanks from an old soldier.

Barry - Photographer for the NMA
Hi,
Superb event - one I will always remember. I look forward to next year! The Organisers did a fantastic job and I know a very good feeling remained about the event when all the bikes had departed. The Suez Veterans there also enjoyed your company.
If you would like to view them, a small sample gallery of images from the event is now available on www.theveterans.co.uk. Details of the DVD slide show can also be found there. A copy of the DVD will be going to the RTTW Organisers today and also to the NMA for their archives and to play in their Reception area.
Thanks again for a superb day.

Hi everyone, I took part in the RTTW as one of the RBLR. I am an ex RE and I just wanted to say how emotional and proud I was to be there. The organisation was absolutely brilliant and carried out in an unhurried, calm, and professional way.
Shame about the press coverage, maybe next year it can be arranged for someone to 'WHEELIE' all the way there. At least then we might get a full 2 mins coverage Nationally. That aside 'well done' I'm looking forward to next year

We had a fantastic day at the Memorial on Saturday. It was very moving and a fitting tribute to all those who have lost their lives. Well done to all those involved in organising what we hope will be the first of many.
