With a view to continuing in our fund raising efforts we have started a small merchandising program and are now in a position to offer for sale RTTW sew on patches. The patches are based on the original artwork and are simply the white RTTW letters in a black background and very much in keeping with the theme of respect.
The patches are only £4 each including P&P.

All recognised Chapters are sponsored by a Harley- Davidson dealership. Nene Valley Chapter formed in June 2001 with the opening of Wayside Harley –Davidson. In 2004 the dealership changed its name to Silverstone Harley-Davidson when it was taken over by new owners. Early in 2008 the dealership was bought by a Chapter member and his wife.
In June 2006 Nene Valley Chapter officially twinned with Orval County Chapter in Belgium, who are situated in south eastern Belgium on the borders of France and Luxembourg
As a club we have gone from strength to strength growing in numbers year on year. We currently have in excess of 350 members from all around Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and even as far away as Gloucestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Dorset, Sussex, Berumda. and the U.S.A.

Craig Jones European Stunt Riding Champion and holder of the World Record Stoppie became our 300th member when he was made an Honorary Member of Nene Valley in December 2006. During that year Craig had made a surprise appearance at our Squires and Spires IV Rally held at Towcester Racecourse, where he was persuaded to give an impromptu demonstration of his skills. We were then invited to join him on the Rockingham Circuit during one of our two rally ride outs the following year, where he again demonstration of his skills for us.

We are a very active riding and social chapter with our members participating in many events throughout the year. There are ride outs planned for most weekends  and preparations are well under way for our rally Squires and Spires VI at Towcester Race Course in July. Our members also attend rallies hosted by HOG and other Chapters, including our friends in Orval. Although we may be a small Chapter in numbers in comparison to other U.K. Chapters, a large number of our members regularly attend the HOG European Rallies where we have won the Chapter Challenge for the past 3 years.. We also have also become well know at the South of England Rally for our participation in Chapter Challenge and our Saturday night antics. 

CHARITIES

Nene Valley also supports many charities, both local and national, with members regularly holding events to raise money. We make regular donations to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. In 2007 we also adopted the Keech Cottage Children’s Hospice in Bedfordshire and by the end of the year had donated almost £2,000 for items on their “Wish List”. The “Thermometers” show how much we have raised and donated so far this year to our two main chartieis.
