The Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.) is an organisation founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson® Motor Company. The group was established to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world, and to develop a close relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealer and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
The opportunity to start an independent chapter affiliated with the Harley Owners Group is offered to bring members together for the common interest of promoting motorcycling activities.

The goal of each chapter is to generate an increased level of enthusiasm for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

The chapter shall be a family-oriented and a nonpolitical organisation.

A Chapter consists of like minded members who elect their Chapter Officers. The primary officers are headed by the Director and include Assistant Director, Treasurer, and Secretary. The discretionary officers are Dealer representative, Activities Officer, Editor, Road Captains, Safety Officer, Historian, Photographer, Webmaster and Ladies of Harley representative.

The structure and rules determining how Charters are run are laid down by H.O.G. and followed throughout the World. A copy of the HOG guidelines is available in the members only section Each Chapter has it's own patch, typically worn on a jacket or a waistcoat over the main jacket . The patch consists of the H.O.G. eagle and banner with the Chapter ‘top rocker' above it. In addition many other patches are available and are worn with pride by Chapter members. The Officers also get a smaller top rocker denoting their position within the Chapter. These identifiers are worn by H.O.G. Chapters everywhere, and help build the strong fellowship that comes from being a H.O.G. Chapter member. To join Nene Valley Chapter you must belong to H.O.G.

Event Statement for Chapter Web Sites

Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members. There are three categories of activities, identified as follows:

Member events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members . This will be our Rally (see separate website)

Open events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members and other guests as desired. - Nene Valley do not hold these type of Events

Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member. - These Events are held by Nene Valley and can only be accessed by Chapter Members via the Members Only section of this website
